Meadow Flat Public School is a small school located in a rural setting on the Great Western Highway 34km from Bathurst and 29km from Lithgow.
Students travel by small buses from the area around Sunny Corner and Meadow Flat. The school was established in 1856 and the "Beehive" building, which houses the library today, was built in 1884.
